I was given a Canon T3, my first DSLR. Here it is next to my fathers old Nikon N2000 film SLR that was given to me last year. I really like the lens on the old Nikon and I want to find an adapter ring. Suggestions? I can't wait to go out and shoot some car porn.

Amazon a Fotodiox Nikon to Canon EF adapter. You can even get ones that allow focus confirmation by chirping when you achieve focus.

Just look up Nikon F Mount to EOS adapters. There should be quite a few. As far as what's best, I'm not sure.

I just got a fotodiox (no chip) to mount my old Leica 35-70 lens on my 5D. Taking pictures with it for the first time, and loving it so far. Looking forward to coming home and checking them out on the big screen, the old glass looks to be doing a stunning job, so far. As far as I know, Nikon and canon AF won't cross over, so lenses will always be MF, but Canons will always meter for exposure.
I've been shooting full manual with the Leica lens, since it doesn't register aperture.
